Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress who hails from Manama, Bahrain and was born into a multi-ethnic household. Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim and her father Elroy were both born in Malaysia. Her brothers are elder and two younger brothers. Her parents have moved to Bahrain in the late 1980s as a result of the Lankan tensions and her birth and education were in Bahrain. When she was in her teens she played in national championships of badminton at both the regional and international levels. She later quit the sport in order to pursue a career as designer. Padukone is from Mangalorean background and her native language is Konkani. Padukone is located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi in Karnataka State, India is where her ancestry comes from. Prakash Padukone is her father and was a badminton player who has international acclaim. Her mother is an agent for travel.
